Avoiding Scams 101

The internet can be a wonderful resource for finding work at home jobs, but it's also a wonderful place for scammers to prey on moms hoping to find work from home opportunities. Here's how to spot a scam, and how to avoid being ripped off.

Start Up Fees

You should never have to pay to start working for a company under any circumstances. While investing in a company and paying for a job are two different factors. I would stay cautious until you know for sure whether it works or not, do your homework before paying any fees.

Over The Top Promises

When a company uses the terms "overnight success", "effortless", "make money in your sleep", or anything seeming to be too good to be true, run away. Any successful business owner knows that there is always effort, a lot of time, energy and hard work put into creating and maintaining a successful business.

Do Your Research

Before you invest any time, energy or money into a business/company, type the business name into various search engines and read the articles that come up on the company. Also you can check out a few sites who monitor complaints against companies, and let you thoroughly check into many complaints.
